The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care.

As a nonprofit, donor-supported organization, the CF Foundation has made a tremendous difference in the lives of those with CF and continues to be one of the most efficient and effective healthcare organizations in the country. Through the Foundation’s efforts, the life expectancy of a child born with CF has doubled in the last 30 years, and nearly half the CF population today is age 18 or older. In fact, many patients are living into their 30s, 40s, and beyond.
